How to place a custom order

A custom commissioned painting from your photo is $395, although this does not include the final printing or any optional framing. Please review the following ordering and printing details, given in a question and answer format.

Q: How do I place an order and send you a photo?
A: You order by email where you include your digital photo.
Send it to: terri@glaserart.com.
If your photo is not yet digitized, you'll need to scan it yourself or have it scanned at a copy shop, mailing service or large office supply store, which will charge a few dollars. They may also email it for you. The best file size is between 1 and 5 megabytes, but other sizes are still OK.

With your email you should add any preferences for cropping or special requests. If there is anything about the photo you want changed or removed from the painting, please explain.

Q: How do I pay?
A: Upon receiving your email order, I'll check to make sure it will make a great painting. I'll then send you an emailed invoice for a 50% deposit, which you will pay online by credit card.

Q: When can I expect completion?
A: My current schedule allows about a week to completion. When finished, I'll first send you an email with a link so you can review a proof of your painting and request any changes. Upon final completion, I'll send you another invoice for the remaining balance. I'll next email you another link to the final painting.

Q: How do I order prints or framing?
As my custom painting charge includes only the painting, you'll purchase prints separately. I use Fine Art America for printing, and through them you'll order prints of any available size. For example, you can order a rolled print only, or else add any of their many mounting or mounting options, including choice of papers.

Your painting will be kept in my public gallery where you or others can buy a print at any time now or in the future. Although, if you prefer not to have your painting included in the gallery, you will need to let me know when placing your order.

Q: Do you guarantee I'll be satisfied?
A: Yes. If you are not satisfied with the painting after reviewing the proof, I will send you a full refund of your deposit.

Q: Are there visual differences between traditional painting and a digital painting?
A: Not many. The basic look and feel are similar. Even with a magnifying glass, any differences, besides the feel of the paint itself, will be hard to notice.

Q: Do reprints differ from the original artwork?
A: They will look and be identical to your original. The inks used are guaranteed to last for a 100 years! Each painting reprint uses the highest quality Ultrachrome ink technology so your paintings, whether original or copies, will all have the same three dimensional lifelike quality.
