Happy Landscapes

Hi everyone! I'm sitting in my apartment office; the studio in back of a small room. The great "Live a Trillion Years" is still in progress. When I get stuck and I abandon everything and go outside to sit and smoke, I dream exciting. I wish I was a moviemaker because painting is so slow and sticky. I was looking up Rembrandt the other day - way surpasses me - and was sad that he didn't have more dramatics; meaning that he didn't have more theatrical scenes. I wish I had a theatre I could do anything in then paint from the settings. My new works are expressionistic but using my colour expertise - they are landscape in nature, a bit mundane, pleasant and smallish in scale. I like to do these landscape compositions because I think on people moving about a room. The art maybe not as important as themselves - still, in a moment aside, the art will please, much like in hotels. take care, much love, Emzart. (Sometimes I call myself Emzart) I want to express, as well, that the "almost real" shape paintings, aren't intended to be anything other than line, shapes, balances, spaces - it was the mood of these I liked. They are lightly painted.
