Fundraiser for The Indian River Keeper

Last night we had the most amazing fundraiser for our Indian RiverKeeper. Please check out his site at http://www.indianriverkeeper.org/. This is a really important job because he has to oversee the entire southern portion of the Indian River Lagoon. The event yesterday was entirely volunteer from the band, to the food, to the silent auction and the door prizes. This is a non-profit organization funded solely by members, citizens, businesses, foundations and grants. Our Indian River Keeper has been a strong voice in the fight against the discharges into the Indian RIver Lagoon. It is a member of the Water Keeper Alliance which was founded by Robert Kennedy and Pete Seeger.
Today is March2, 2015. I'd like to keep the love going for a little while more. This is to help them buy a much needed truck. You can also donate directly. All profits from my site this month will go directly to the fund to buy the Indian RIver Keeper a truck.
