Forgetting Camera Days

Being the photo nut, forgetting my camera when going for a walk can be a very frustrating and traumatic. In my walks which are just beginning after being very ill two years ago, I've come across several things which screamed where is your camera.

There was a HUGE turtle in a water filled ditch that quickly submerged when it heard me approaching. Saw it again in another walk in a dry ditch not far from home. Went home to get my camera, by the time I returned it was gone! Two gorgeous blue birds so delicate looking it was hard to take my eyes off them.

Squirrels scurrying around for food and climbing trees to the nearest branch to knibble on the food. Coming back down the tree for more, only to return up the tree again to knibble some more.

Watching all the new Spring life arriving. Buds turning to leaves, flowers opening to the sun after a rain shower. All this beauty that God presents to us so wonderfully. Always something new to capture with the lens.
