Flat Line Morning

What to do when the you have all your tools in front of you and there's a flat line in your creative pulse? I have tried to look at other artwork hoping for the impulse to create my own master piece but my brain only wants to veg out and not do anything. I have the free time and I will feel unproductive if I don't do something. So is it worth it to half ass something on the canvas so at least I can say I did something today or allow the excuse that the muse didn't visit me win out?
