First Songs on Guitar

Some of the first songs I learned on guitar were "Free Bird" by Lynard Skynard and "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin. HAH! Just kidding. I chose a little bit easier to play songs with little to no hard solos. First song ever was "Bound to the Floor" by Local H. Even now, I haven’t played a guitar in a few years but I know that if I picked one up my heart would take over. Another song I learned was "We Are 138" by the Misfits. Punk rock played a big role in me wanting to play guitar, so I learned several other songs in that genre that eventually got me into a little garage band with a few friends.
