Enjoy What You Do

After over 15 years of having this story in my head, it’s really nice to see it come alive. This is the very first page of my very first comic book. I figured it would be a good chance to get the story out, and see what would happen. I was really shocked at the response I got. It was a bit overwhelming. Professional comic artists, who have worked for the big names like Marvel & DC, gave me some tips, and said they are really wanting to know more.

I am really in high gear on this story. It’s a lot of fun, I have full freedom, and it’s mine. The down side is that because I am working alone on the project, it will take quite a while. I think that is why I haven’t paid for advertising or pushed it as much as I would like. I need to go at my own pace, without deadlines to discourage me.

I am just happy that people do want to see it to the point where they were asking about the website, and more info. Maybe I should begin to set it all up, and create a fan base. It raises questions of special funding, or grants. Is that possible with a comic book? If so at what point do I ask? These questions may be soon for me to think about right now.

For now I will continue with the introduction pages. I only have four pages total, and then I will begin on the official character designs, and setting designs. From there the plan will be to finish up Grand Cross: Issue one. Be on the look out for more information as more previews surface.
