Dias de los muertos - day of the dead

Announcing a new event for me! I was chosen as one of five artists to participate in a LIVE painting contest sponsored by Dick Blick art materials Seattle! We will have 90 minutes to create a masterpiece, the subject to be told to us upon our arrival. WOW! My main reason to attempt this was not to win though that would be nice, but to further push myself beyond my comfort zone....I really am hoping it will center around the day of the dead celebration-so fun! The event is being held at Gorditos restaurant in Seattle. There will be face painting, raffles for cool stuff like Woodland Park Zoo tickets, craft table and of course, the live art! Fun to be had by all! Stay tuned!
