Dancing on the Breeze

Dancing on the breeze,
the trees send forth their leaves.
Whirling, swirling, unfurling and fertilizing the land,
creating a gentle bed for their ever present seeds.

The colors glow in the sunlight
and hasten the winds of winter,
And yet the gift of the Artist’s brush
sustains us and overpowers our fears.

There is no greater blessing than nature’s bounty
Presented to us in the colorful wrappings of autumn,
Creating memories that live on within our hearts and souls
that sustain us as chapters of our life close and begin again.
