Dads Light

This image was taken the day my father past away. The image reflects his live, the love for the ocean and the love for photography. His live will be remembered as a fulfilling live offering comfort to others. His nature and attitude was one of greatness and his demeanor was that of a true gentleman.

I was notified of his passing at 3.30 am on the 3rd of April, 2014, and decided, not being able to sleep, to take my camera gear and reflect on the times we had. I visited the Port Macquarie light house and this image was taken at 4.05 am.

My father was a true honorable man that stood before all and gave his live of service as an Ambulance Officer. His feet's of life giving service reflect directly on his personality. A giving man that ask for nothing in return. Thank you for being my dad.
