Commissions are coming to completion

The first part of the year is winding down, and so are the early commissions. Just three more to go, and then it's on to personal portraits for family and getting inventory up and ready for some great art shows this summer!

I learned so many things doing these commissions. 1) always have a contract, no matter what. 2) It's ok to say no. 3) painting texture with a knife is supper fun and freeing! Try it! 4) it's not done until it's done. Sometimes people have to just hurry up and wait. If I'm not ready to call it done, then the wait will be worth it! I promise! Rushing is never going to get you the best product.

Thanks to everyone who has been supporting me this past year! I can't wait to see what the next 10 months have in store for the heART of Horses, and I can't wait to see the art I will create!
