Celebrating 25 years as a Professional Artist

Friends of the Arts of Juno Beach, Florida announces the opening reception for artist
Laurie Snow Hein, “Making it for 25 Years as a Professional Artist”, October 15, 2015
from 5:30pm until 7:00pm at 340 Ocean Drive, Juno Beach, FL. View artwork that she created from 1990 – 2015 as a working mother supporting her family with artistic talents alone, just months after her sixth child was born in 1989.

View paintings starting when Laurie’s career first began with portraiture and illustrations of children to present day Florida landscape art. With her images distributed worldwide, she has become an internationally known award winning fine artist. On exhibit will be samples of each year’s painting and subject matter, including illustrations from some of her five published gift books, licensed product designs, portraits and local beaches. Laurie has been teaching art classes for the past 25 years at the Everglades Club in Palm Beach, Lost Tree Village in Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter Island and has done workshops both around the state and in Europe. Many locals will recognize her Florida scenes and tropical subjects from such art shows as Artigras, where she was the poster artist and other venues throughout South Florida. Be inspired by Laurie’s Retrospect Collection and have the opportunity to purchase a piece of own at the Juno Exhibit Oct 16-December 13. Laurie will give a short talk about her career on opening night.
