Broke Camera

Great hike! Broke my camera! Bought a new camera! I have two cameras I use for various outdoors activities and occasions. My main camera and veteran of several Grand Canyon trips is a Canon SX10IS. I've dropped it, smacked it against rock walls, rained on, and in general did my best to protect it, but circumstances generally would come up.
However, I recently (about a month ago) purchased a Canon ELPH110HS for the short/aggressive day hikes. A lightweight camera. Note; as you can see I am partial to Canon's. Having said that, yesterday, my wife Sally, a friend from work who shall remain nameless, and I did a day hike yesterday on the Yeager Canyon Loop Trail. I was going to put my new little Canon to the test on the this hike! Long story short, I tripped up while walking and video taping, slamming the little camera into the rocks I feel on. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER. Good news is, I plan on making a video short of what I got of the hike and a new camera.
Couldn't wait for Christmas or my birthday, so after the hike Sally and I swung by Best Buy in Prescott and I purchased a.......You guess it; Canon SX280HS. I'll see how long I can get this one to last.
