Blue Ridge Parkway Artist, Two New Print Sales, and The Hokie Bug Fest

Blue Ridge Parkway Artist

So Pleased to sell a large canvas print of Path on Sharp Top to a great Charlottesville VA patron and a huge canvas print of Eagle Fire to a great Springfield MO patron!

I am going to take a one day break from my People Art Blogs to present two recent Pawleys Island paintings.

I have already posted His Spot but I thought it would good with my latest painting, Silver Lining at Pawleys Island.

Original 30" x 22" Acrylic Painting $1350

Silver Lining at Pawleys Island is an intense shore painting at this beautiful South Carolina beach.
The light streaming down from behind the clouds created a startling effect and the birds are great visual accents to the scene.

His Spot Original 30" x 40" Oil Painting $2430

His Spot is a beautiful Pawleys Island evening painting. My husband is not much for swimming in the ocean. He is a self-taught naturalist and concentrates on bird populations. He spent many hours at this spot on the marsh side around the corner from the house we stayed at. He saw over 100 different species on our five day vacation.
