Here is one of my domestic cat paintings. I think the title says it all! I am working on some more abstract animal paintings. This is one of my representational ones. I always have an expressionistic flare to all my work but in this one I stuck more closely to what I was working from.

I have always enjoyed jokes, word play, and other kinds of humor and really get into laughing! As I have said before Clyde supplies most of the funnies for my blog but I do come up with some of my own and look for others on the internet.

Tuesday wasn't very funny. I wrote about how I was looking forward to Line Dance Class and then after I published the blog I threw my back out and missed class. At first I thought it wasn't going to be bad but the pain got to be too much to be able to drive so I missed class.
Fortunately it got better so I was able to go to the Thursday class in Blacksburg.


Neither of us came up with anything funny Tuesday but I saw something on another site that I thought was great and reflected how I felt.

An apple a day will keep anyone away if you throw it hard enough! Nobody threw anything at my back but it sure kept me away from my fun.
