I am real excited about my new painting that I haven't started yet! The Word and Bird Man is going to sit for me! I have done a number of paintings of my favorite model but they were all based on photos. This is going to be great!

I have started setting up for a portrait in oils of Clyde. Right now I am deciding on the spacing, value patterns, and lighting. I had Clyde in there a few days ago to work on the lighting. After a while I told him I didn't need him just yet. Still have some decisions to make. He suggested I get a monkey to sit - a better looking monkey. No, he is the monkey, I mean man I want for the painting!
