About the Artwork:
Painted on Rice Paper; 25 " x 37”; Organic artwork, No pens or markers used. Immense detailed challenge work on Rice - Paper. Rice paper absorbs lot of paint. Some of the colors I formulated for smooth consistency so had to wait for a day, for the paint to give me correct color contour. I also used Indian Cooking Spices mixed in milk with other paint.

Location:
Texas Visual Arts Association -Downtown Gallery
Plaza of the Americas
700 N. Pearl Street, Suite G207

Show: “For The Bird”
“Birds exist everywhere, and while adored by some, they are feared or totally ignored by others. Birds have been used as symbols for love (love birds), peace (dove), freedom (bald eagle), and rebirth (the mythical phoenix). Poems and songs have been written about them, and each state claims one as its state bird”

“Texas Visual Arts Association is a non-profit organization operated for the encouragement and enrichment of visual artists in all media. The primary goal of TVAA is to provide a venue for the education and exhibitions of professional artists as well as to provide an opportunity for artists of diverse backgrounds to promote public awareness, involvement and support from the community.”

Thank you TVVA- Texas Visual Art Association for giving me this opportunity. I am truly grateful and honored. Thank you Jan Partin for rewarding me this honor. I am truly grateful and will cherish this moment in my life.
