Geometric Abstract artwork is the language of shapes, lines, and angles. Created in a multitude of styles and patterns, these non-objective (non-representational) compositions create a modern, contemporary, and sophisticated piece of wall art that inspires energy and emotion.
My personal style of geometric abstract artwork is created by using multiple digital layers including mathematical fractal creations and digitally painted color palettes. Utilizing digital editing techniques, I create light, shadows, and depth for each piece with contrast, textures, and color gradients. Sometimes, the colors are bold and vibrant and sometimes, the colors are sheer, translucent, and luminous – it all depends on what type of mood I am trying to create. Either way, each piece has a shimmer and glow offering a distinct modern and contemporary appeal.
My geometric abstract artwork is designed to complement any space with images available in a variety of sizes and print mediums (my personal preference is the metal prints).
The artwork featured in this blog post is: Translucence 1 by Janice Austin
