Athiests

I've been dealing with a lot of athiests lately on Facebook. They have called God so many horrible things and it just hurts my heart. I mean, they are talking about whom I love most in all the universe! I have been pondering how it is best to handle this situation. What would Jesus do? The conclusion I came to was that I would tell them how much I love God and why, and how real he is to me, and then that is all I will say. No more posts, no fighting, no responses (unless they have sincere questions of course) or simply a post that says let's agree to disagree. I want to show them love most of all because I was once where they are. I'm so thankful God called me to his holy purpose. Let's all take a minute to thank him for his greatest gift, Jesus, who is our salvation. Amen?

I probably am an atheist altho I was baptized and educated as a Roman Catholic. I have the utmost respect for Pope Frances, such a breath of fresh air in the Vatican. The way I feel about religion is if it teaches love and compassion then it's a good religion. If it teaches hatred of the other, then it's a bad religion. This goes for Christianity, Islam, Judaism, etc.
