I agree, I always have a back story because I am a story teller at heart but no one seems to be buying much these days. I am still creating, I am just addicted to my craft.

Barney, I have been using your basic idea since my first upload to FFA, but with little results to show for all my work. It's kinda disappointing to spend all this time preparing images of our work for review and possible sales on FAA, and after a year + have only one 11 x 14 print and one greeting card sold. Maybe its the crappy economy, but I have marketed to collectors, interior decorators, television networks, and the Smart Phone covers, with nothing much to show, but boney fingers.
