Art fighting hunger

It gives me immense joy to be able to contribute artistically to a cause so close to my heart. There have been plenty of hardships in my life in which I've needed food assistance, and thank God for organizations like Catholic Charities of Central Florida to meet me at my need! This wonderful organization helps feed over 1million in central Florida through their Agape food bank, house countless through Sheppards Hope, and much more. I've had the privilege of raising funds for them recently , by auctioning my piece "Hearts Give Hope" at their "Hearts Give Hope Gala" (hence the title of the painting). I'm honored to be invited to continue with this mission. Along with some well known celebrities (each painting a unique design) these bowls will be available for auction at their "Empty Bowls Gala" November 15th 2014. Art fighting hunger! I'm just one person, one artist...imagine how many more families can be fed and helped if we all used a little bit of our gifts as a part of the solution?!
