Accepting submissions for Portraits, Still Life and Abstract Artwork.

Artist Compete is an international fine art on-line juried competition that is open to all visual artists, novice to professional artist, 18 years of age or older. Please read the Rules and most of all have fun.

Age Requirement:
This on-line Juried Art Competition is open to all artists of any age, if your under 18 you must have a parent consent.
Art Contests & Competitions | Artists Compete. The Work Must Be Original:
You must be the creator of the art that you submit to the competition. Your art must be your own original concept and not a copy of anyone else’s copyrighted material. (If your image infringes upon another’s copyright it will be disqualified.) Upon submitting your work, to this competition, you are solely responsible for any infringement on copyrighted materials.

By entering this art competition, you are granting us a non-exclusive perpetual license to reproduce images of your artwork on our art-competition.net website and in our newsletters, and in the marketing of the art competitions to the general public. Artworks will not be used for any other purpose than that which is stated here. All winning entries will be displayed on the art-competition.net website. Each entry becomes part of the public, historical / archival online contest catalog. It can be removed at a later date upon request.
File Sizes and Formats:
Uploaded images are not to exceed 1200 x 1200px in any direction and a resolution no greater than 72dpi. The acceptable file formats are: jpg, gif, png or bmp.

Send an email attaching the files of your art to the following eMail address submissions@artistscompete.com. The subject of the email must contain the contest title. The email must have your files listed using the same naming convention you used for each piece of art. Add any relevant information for each file such as medium, size, full title, etc. Once we have received your entries you will receive a confirmation email.
Judging Criteria:
Artwork will be judged on the following criteria: Drawing, Values, Concept, Composition, Color, Paint Manipulation (Brushwork), and subject matter selection. The decision of the jury is final.
Original Work:
We reserve the right to request proof that your entry is your original artwork created solely by you. Non-compliance to this rule will be a disqualification of your entry.

Multiple Submission:
There are no restrictions to the number of contests an artist can submit work to, nor the number of pieces they can submit, nor the number of prizes they can win.
