A House In The Mojave Desert

The heat of summer can be intolerable at times. In the Mojave Desert of California the wait can be long before any rain hits the ground. Standing in the desert can bring a feeling of loneliness, a sense of isolation among the land wondering if any one will come to provide comfort. This home sits in the middle of the Mojave Desert and it shows it wear from the hot desert sun. Along side it stands a tall but dry Joshua Tree. The two now remain in the desert alone. All that may be left is the memories of when people inhabited this dwelling. I found this home east of the town of Victorville, California. It reminded me of how lonely the Mojave Desert can be at times.
