My First Blog

Blogging is new to me, but I figured I would try it out. So, this week I've been playing with Prismacolor Artsticks, by dipping them in water and then applying them to canvas. At first I was fighting with it, trying to get the medium to work by force, but after a few hours I realized I was pressing to hard and forcing it wasn't going to work. Instead, dipping the stick into the water and then applying the color softly, little bits at a time worked much better. Patience is needed and bleeding is still an issue I'm working on but I do like this method and will continue working with it in the future.
