20140712 Sketch of the Day

I recently purchased a new book at Wally's Used Book shop in Wolfeboro, "Sketching Your Favorite Subjects in Pen & Ink," by Claudia Nice. A wonderful how to for all levels and a welcome reference addition to my growing art library. Tremendously useful in quick studies of value for future more formal pieces in any medium. I think it creates a very nice affect when integrated in sketching when water color washes are overlaid. "Exposed On Outgoing Tide," ink and watercolor wash, 8" x 6"
