2 Paintings Per Week- Week One

Week One, Paintings 1 and 2 of my 2 Paintings Per Week challenge 2015!

Its Thursday, the end of week one and the start of week two. The first painting created during week one of 2015 is entitled "Harbor Familiar." It is an 8" x 6" acrylic painting on canvas panel. The scene is of two boats tied up to each other in Portland Harbor, Maine. It is a familiar site to all who have visited Peaks Island These boats are always moored down front on the Island between Peaks and House Islands. This original painting is available for purchase and is priced at $125 (unframed). Information about purchasing the original or archival quality prints of this painting is available Here

The second painting completed during week one is entitled "Splash." It is an 8" x 6" acrylic painting on canvas panel. The scene is of my son and a younger cousin playing in the waves at Hadlocks Cove on Peaks Island. There is a place on the point of this cove where the rocks form a chute which funnels large swells at the right tide. It is fun to sit and brave the waves as they wash through one end of the chute and out the other.

This original painting is available for purchase and is priced at $125 (unframed). Information about purchasing the original or archival quality prints of this painting is available Here
