Metal Prints

Fine Art America offers metal prints! This method of applying the image onto metal intrigued me as I noticed one of my paintings would look good presented this way. Spring Fantasy is mixed media with acrylics and acrylic glitter paint. Imagine this painting as a metal print! I could see in my mind's eye how it would look as an artist and I have to write here that I am excited that FAA offers this. The possibilities become endless when you think about outdoor living spaces. Of course you would want to protect the art from direct sunlight. But a print on metal that is water resistant could in the right protective setting become outdoor art as well as indoor. Imagine sitting by your outdoor fireplace and somewhere on a near by wall with NO direct sun of course you have this gorgeous metal print. The possibilities for decorating with metal prints are only limited by the imagination.
