Making a Birthday Impression

Birthday cards remain to be one of the best things to give someone on their special day. With the sheer amount of cards, however, yours might get lost in the pile. You need to make an impression, especially if you’re sending a card to your boss or a special someone you want to impress.
How can you send a card that stands out?
First of all, skip the e-card. It takes a few seconds to send out an electronic greeting and the recipient knows it. Don’t underestimate the impact of a physical card. Choose an interesting design or a witty saying. If you have the time and talent, consider designing it on your own.
The most important part is to sign the card personally. Don’t just place your signature, add a small note that shows you took the time to address the card yourself. Even a handwritten ‘Happy Birthday!’ can go a long way.
