Birthday Gift project

So, I have 2 boys. They are wonderful and a bit quirky(no surprise with me for a mom lol). Birthdays are coming soon(4/11 and 4/12) and have been busy with projects for them. The older is very big into music and LOVES The Misfits(punk group), he also likes many other groups and genres but, The Misfits are #1 for him. Soooo.... since he is turning 15 I decided to make a collage of sorts for him starring his #1. I have, and always will, support my guys in anyway I can. He has always been responsible with school and life in general. Even though I'm not a huge fan of this group I worked long days and nights to make it right for him. I created several different images and partial images etc. to mold into the final draft. I even was able to add him into an image where he seems to belong with the band! Then I turned around and ordered it as a throw pillow for him. I sure hope he doesn't give it to his girlfriend like the hat we searched for!
Now my other son, is a real character. He tends to hide his true self behind goofiness and jokes. He is a Brony. For those of you that don't know, a Brony is a boy/guy who loves watching and collecting My Little Pony things. I grew up with the original My Little Ponies, all my friends had them, and yes it was considered a "girl" thing then. This is a whole new version, and it's kinda cute. Many people don't think that this is something I should encourage but, as I said earlier, I will always support my guys. It's not drugs, violence, or even mean spirited so why not?" Friendship is Magic" is one of their themes. I think it's wonderful, and maybe even one of the few ways that he shows his true nature. He is caring and loving soul and often has a hard time showing it. So yes, I will most definitely support him in this too. It's actually a very popular new fad for guys. You can find Brony shirts and accessories in big name stores everywhere. It is also something that keeps him connected to his cousin in another state. She is also a good sweet kid and I'm thrilled that they share this hobby to keep connected. His throw pillow is full of the Ponies he likes. I even turned him into a pony named "Sidfire" and placed him with his "friends" to personalize it more. I sure worked hard to make it look good!
The past few weeks have been exhausting! Sometimes I didn't sleep for days because I would get on a roll and then still had real life to deal with too. It's all worth it though! I just hope they love them! I have been immersed in ponies and skulls for a long time now and it would really suck if they don't!
