Art and music. How do you separate the two? Notes and colors. Highs and lows Pitch and palette. So interconnected. The tempo of a piece, dark moody bright. Calm and peaceful! Art becomes music as music is art. An opera - voice and oil. How they blend.
I think of abstract pieces in this way. Do you?

Val this is so true, a lot of my work is actually from songs that have inspired me one of my favourite composites is from the song "there'll be no show tonight" by Phoebe Snow
