I've been writing about myths lately, and not sure why. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that a lot of people say things are true just because they've heard it repeated a lot. I don't know what it is, but there is a fundamental misunderstanding about how artists function, think, and work. I guess I've just been thinking about this recently.
