I am strongly influenced by the Impressionists and Expressionists. I am attracted by interesting patterns made by lights and darks as well as vibrant colors to obtain the expressive qualities in my work. Shadow and light become abstract forms and I am immersed in 'the zone' where time has no meaning. I love to find unique compositions as well as concentrating on the colors and underlying colors to convey my message.
